“ Sani’s Chicken is one of my go-to spots when I’m in Birmingham, and it’s a great place to grab a meal. I had the Hawaiian Spice Dip Burger Meal with Messy Fries, and the flavour was spot-on . The burger was juicy, the dip had the perfect balance of spice and sweetness, and the fries were loaded perfectly. The portion sizes were fairly good, and everything is fairly priced, which makes it worth it. A few others in my group ordered different meals, and we all thought the flavours were really nice . I’ve seen plenty of TikTok-hyped places that don’t live up to the trend, but this is definitely not one of them. The food was genuinely good, and the new shop is a big improvement from the hut they had across the road—it’s clean, spacious, and has a nice vibe . The only downside, and it wasn’t really an issue, was that I felt like there was a roadman serving me at the counter . There was a bit of a lack of professionalism, but other than that, it was a good experience. It’s a good place to go to, and I’d recommend it. Fairly priced, with fairly good portion sizes, and a solid option for a meal in Birmingham. I’ll definitely be back again! ”
“ Sani’s Chicken offers a compact and bustling spot for fried chicken lovers. With only a few tables, the space fills up quickly, and many patrons end up using the seating area as they wait for their orders. Despite the crowd, service remains impressively fast, suggesting an efficient kitchen that keeps up with high demand. The menu is focused on fried chicken with a range of flavors, making it easy to pick something without feeling overwhelmed. The food is the real highlight here—loaded fries are a standout, packed with flavor and worth a try, and the burger is similarly enjoyable. The one potential improvement would be to upgrade the bun quality, which would elevate the burger even further. Prices are fair, and the cash-only policy is something to keep in mind before visiting. All in all, Sani’s Chicken is a recommended spot for a satisfying, no-frills fried chicken experience. ”
“ Very disappointing, overly priced, food was standard, they advertised a lot of things that they no longer serve, then on top of that they never had any extras we asked for and still had to wait over 30 mins for food, not what I was expecting won't be coming back. Decided to give this place a go since they moved to the shop. Burger was lovely the loaded fries as well. They do not take card and the close cash points charge. Overall decent meal worth a second visit. ”
“ First time experience was good.We had small chicken & fries (Firecrackers and Sticky BBQ) which was really tasty and value enough. May Almighty Allah bless the business and these hardworking people. ”
“ There was a lot of fuss about this place so thought it was due a visit whilst I was in the area, it opens at 2pm, and there was ppl loitering from 1.20pm. We ordered:- 2x Loaded Fries (large) 1x Double Hawaiian Burger, With Fries. Food took around 30 minutes and we collected a takeaway, food was well presented and tasted good, washed it down with a home brand cola. Overall good experience think this is place will get higher and better. Good Luck Team…. ”
